We have:

  • Cool Cars
  • Concessions (Cheapest around)
  • and some of the lowest ticket prices of any 2-day con.

 

      “Hands of the City” Presents: DCCS 2019

   We want all kinds of Vendors/Dealers who do Collectibles, Memorabilia and Souvenirs, for 2019 show. We are looking for every possible categoiry, so we can promote a truly unique Comic & Collectors show. 

If you know a vendor/dealer that wants to add a mid-size show to their June calendar, please have them contact us.

The Details:

Location: LPHS, 1701 Champaign, Lincoln Park.

Booth Space Rental:

8' x 8' - $30/each

8' x 10' – $35/each

10' x 10' –  $40/each

 

 Date/Time:

Saturday Hours:, June 1: 10am – 6pm

Sunday Hours:, June 2: 10am – 3pm

 

Set-up times:

Friday May 31: Set-up: 4:30pm - 9pm.

Saturday June 1: Set-up: 8am – 10am

 

Sunday Break-down: 3pm – 5:30pm (Please see Vendor Guidelines & Terms)

NOTE: The High School is locked each night. There are alarms and cameras.

 

Door Tickets:

Adult: $7

16/under: $4

7/under: Free (with parent)

Family Rate: (2 adults & up to 5 kids 16/under): $15

Adult: Weekend wristband: $10

16/under:  Weekend wristband: $7

Costume Contest:  Saturday, 3pm-4pm (16/under)  /  3pm-4pm(17/older) Cash prizes

Art Contest: Sunday, 2pm. (see website for further details)

After-Glow Party For Vendors Only: DCCS has secured the main room at our local Moose Lodge, to use for a private Vendors Party. It will start at 6:30pm Saturday evening and last as long as you can party. More details to follow during con weekend.

Point of Interest: Proceeds from door tickets benefit the athletics dept. of the Lincoln Park school district. We are an all volunteer group that manages this con.

Important:  Vendor Guidelines & Terms

  1. Refund/Cancellation Policy:
  2. Any Vendor canceling their booth space(s) after Friday, May 17, will not receive a refund.
  3. There will be no program or floor-plan changes after May 24.
  4. Table Covers:

   We require all vendors bring & use table covers, for the show to have a clean/professional look. DCCS will have a limited supply on hand, for vendors to use during the weekend.

  1. Sunday Break-down policy:

 $30 per 30 minute period, for any Vendor going past 5:30pm. We need to pay  extra for janitorial staff over-time.

  1. Hold Harmless Agreement

Vendors are responsible for complying with local, state, and federal requirements governing the sale and production of their products, and for acquiring the necessary permits and licenses.

Hold Harmless Agreement:

    I/We hereby assume all risks and liabilities arising out of my/our participation in the Downriver Comic & Collectors Show, June 1 & 2, 2019. I/We also agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Lincoln Park Public School District,  City of Lincoln Park and their officers, agents, and employees, The Downriver Comic & Collectors Show Volunteer group , Hands of the City and all their volunteers; from all liability or responsibility whatsoever, for injure (including death) to person and for any damage to any Lincoln Park public School District, City of Lincoln Park property or to the property of others arising out of/or resulting from participation in this event.

    I/We further hereby release, and forever discharge the Lincoln Park Public School District,  City of Lincoln Park and their officers, agents, and employees, The Downriver Comic & Collectors Show Volunteer group , Hands of the City and all their volunteers; members and employees from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of actions, damages and liabilities resulting or arising directly or indirectly out of my/our participation in the Downriver Comic & Collectors Show.

Guardians of Downriver

(Naming Rights to DCC event for one year)

  Weekend Wristbands for all your employees and their families. In our world a 'family' is any combination of 2 adults an up to 5 kids under 17.

Your  company name will be on the front cover of the DCC program, Full page AD in DCC Program, your own 3' x 10' banner for the whole weekend, On-Line 30 second Commercial/Comic Continuum, 8 placements, 2 months prior to con, your business AD on the back of 8000 postcard quality handouts, which will be distributed to all comic book stores and other high-traffic locations in the Metro-Detroit area. Plus your own annual web-page on our website. - $10,000.
